i dont know who did that but it is their opinion.
Either way, i was actually planning on making the picture refresh, although i need to figure out how to make the caption change too. I am going to have a picture box under the links to the right. That will change all the time.

Some comments:
First, it's simple and easy to use. Definitely more pleasing on the eye. Good job.
Second, I think it would be a good idea to put the message board as a header on the top of the site, where it says "home, about us," etc. That way you don't have to navigate througha secondary menu to get here(not the many come here anyways).
Apparently it's on all the pages in a box to the left, I didn't notice that. Perhaps putting it on top might not be a bad idea, as the box seems like something that would change with events or something, while the board would be a more constant thing. Just a thought.
Nice putting one place under the links. You can get Walk in the Word sermons from there
Another idea: Make the front page picture(currently Luke the Pirate) switch to other things everytime the page is refreshed. Or even a small slideshow might be kind of nifty there. Just another thought
Anyways, there's my two cents. I like it. It looks good, it isnt' crowded or too busy. Good job.
